#EWWR | Visit to the Saica Natur paper recovery plant
For the third consecutive year, we celebrate the European Week for Waste Reduction, from November 19 to 27, with different activities organized by the cluster, to support the cause.
Among the proposals, the visit to the paper recycling plant that we will make at the Saica Natur facilities in Canovelles (see location) stands out, where you will be able to see first-hand the process of sorting and managing the waste to convert them into resources and be able to be added back to the production cycle. Saica Natur values some 350,000 tons of this waste per year in Catalonia and provides its customers with the seal "From Waste to Resources: ZERO TO LANDFILL", endorsed by the certifier TÜV SÜD, which certifies that all the waste generated in its facilities reaches a percentage of net recovery equal to or greater than 95%.
The visit will last approximately 1 hour.
