The European Week of Waste Prevention (EWWR) is an initiative that promotes awareness-raising actions on sustainable resources and waste management within and outside Europe during one week of the month of November: 18 - 26
Promoted by local and regional public authorities, it brings together all the actions of other actors (citizens, schools, companies, NGOs, associations) who organize activities to raise awareness about waste prevention. The Week, as we also call it, is this: a week in November, usually the penultimate or last week of the month. What makes it special are the efforts and passion of thousands and thousands of volunteers who spread sustainable consumption and the circular economy in their communities.
From the Packaging Cluster, we join the celebration of the European Week of Waste Prevention (EWWR), an important initiative to raise awareness of waste reduction and sustainability. In this context, next November 13, we invite you to join the exclusive guided tours that we have organized with our partners, Palets Penedès and Pere Valls. This is an opportunity to get up close and personal with these companies and learn more about their innovative and sustainable practices in waste management and recycling. We want to offer you an experience that allows you to see how our collaborators contribute to the preservation of the environment through efficient and responsible solutions.
Don't miss this opportunity to discover the actions being carried out in the packaging sector to minimize the environmental impact and promote a circular economy.
