In general, the packaging value chain is segmented and poorly interconnected. When creating a new package, designers lack fundamental information on the different processes of the following stages, such as the preparation of work tools or the time involved. As a consequence, it takes brands between 6 months and 2 years in the initial specification of the packaging until the delivery of this new product.
Packaging plants and printing companies face challenges such as rising prices, pressure to streamline and automate processes, reducing batch measurements or packaging customization. These changes make it necessary to automate workflows, to better control the quality of the production process, based on digitization and new technologies that are becoming increasingly important in our sector.
With this new webinar we will be able to see different ways of digitizing, as well as solutions to have a plant with 4.0 technology, with member companies in the cluster such as TAI Smart Factory, Kuka or AIS Vision Systems.
