The Packaging Cluster and the Catalan Water Partnership, together with ACCIÓ and Roots for Sustainability (R4S), are promoting a new project whose main objective is to train the members of the clusters in the measurement of social and environmental results and the contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of its business and operational activity.
The project is divided into two sessions, where work will be done on the B Corp standard (B Impact Assessment - BIA) and the SDG Action Manager (the only tool to measure the contribution to the SDGs co-developed and validated by the United Nations - Global Compact), evaluation tools that will allow us to incorporate these two frameworks of evaluation and guidance in the measurement, management and improvement of results. In addition, there will be the participation of two leading companies in sustainability, which will present their case on the incorporation of the measurement of social and environmental results and the benefits it has brought to their organization.
The measurement of social and environmental results of the participating companies will be worked on over two training and execution sessions. Although participation in the first day is open, it will add value to all members of the participating clusters, and does not oblige them to commit to the second. To maximize the overall value of the company project, participation in both workshops and the commitment to complete the evaluation tools between the two work days is recommended (a month of margin will be given for this task).
