The consortium of the European project FoodPackLab 2.0. - Secpho, Packaging Cluster, Systetamic Paris-Region, Vitagora, Food & Bio Denmark, CNR-IFAC and Pack4Food - has organized a virtual seminar for next February 19th, where different success stories will be presented on innovative solutions applied to the food sector, to ensure their quality and safety in the current market. Among the initiatives we will see examples of blockchain and traceability, sustainable packaging and disruptive technologies.
The session will begin at 10:00 am with the welcome of Gawel Walczak, International Affairs Manager of secpho, and will continue with the presentation of the 12 invited SMEs.
Matthieu Hug, CEO & founder at Tilkal, will talk about Blockchain, Data Intelligence, traceability, and transparency; Laurent Wouters, CEO of Cénotélie, will present solutions to learn about traceability on farms; Piet De Vriendt, Senior Business Development Manager at Kezzler, will show the power of serialization for food safety; and Arnaud Muller, CEO & Co-Founder of NEMIS, will tell us about the innovative technology solution of NEMIS.
On the other hand, Iván Nieto, CEO of Nulab, will continue the session with his presentation "LAB to SAMPLE" and Roman Llagostera Pujol will present Troposferica as Chief Executive Officer & Founder, which works to offer environmental services focused on the circular economy. Paolo Tondello, Product Specialist at FT System, will present how gas spectroscopy works for online quality control and traceability; and Samuel Poulain, Managing Director of Le verre Fluoré, will talk about photonic solutions for food storage monitoring.
To finish, Alessio Adamiano, as a researcher at Recover Ingredients, will talk about smart and sustainable phosphorus fertilizers for the circular economy; Francesc Gilbert & Òscar Marès, will present us the newest machinery for the security and food sector of Aranow; Lluis Riba, Chief Executive Officer of Cart Service, will tell us which are the most sustainable packaging solutions; and Pol Barceló, TAI Smart Factory Sales Technician, will close the session with the presentation “How QPlant helps production. Safety and quality "

In December, the consortium organized another webinar in which different international experts explained how to enter the Indian market and its intellectual property ecosystem, providing a sectoral knowledge perspective with which to operate in the Indian technology system food. With this type of initiative, it is possible that the companies associated with the clusters can access business in international markets, expand and develop their strategy with expert collaborators.

FoodPackLab 2.0:
The project FoodPackLab 2.0. aims at fostering cross-border and cross-sectorial collaboration of clusters and business networks in the strategic field of smart food chain.
It connects clusters from four different sectors (agriculture, food processing, packaging and deep tech) and 5 European countries (Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy and Spain) in order to support European SMEs to access new global value chains and ensure their position as global leaders of innovation in targeted industries.
